Arm Balance Workshop

Join us for a fun workshop in which we will explore a series of different yoga arm balances, ranging from beginners to advanced. If the idea of being upside down frightens you then this is definitely the workshop for you. You will be introduced to each pose from its baby routes & from there we keep leveling up to eventually come into the final version of each pose. Having some yoga experience will definitely help you but don’t feel dissuaded if you are a yoga newbie. You are more than welcome to come & play as well. Looking forward to seeing you on the mat.

Your teacher for this workshop, Kelly Lynch, will walk you through each arm balance from start to finish using props to help you feel supported and secure enough to enjoy this amazing arm balances. We will discuss the build up poses towards each pose; where your personal obstructions might be; precautions & safety in each pose; and tips & tricks to help build up towards it. My yoga journey started when I participated in a transcendental meditation course at the age of 14. Under the guidance of my teachers Vicki & Richard Broome, i become a passionate meditator. After meditating for about two years I stumbled upon a Bikram yoga class where my love and dedication for yoga began to develop. In a heartbeat I found my mornings preoccupied with yoga classes before heading to school. I continued my happy little practice for a couple of years, until I injured my back in a car accident, which threw off my practice for a while. I eventually found my way to an amazing Hatha teacher who emphasized healing and gentleness in each practice, which thankfully put me back on my yoga journey. Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Sivananda & Jivamukti Yoga teachers. I soon became an Asana-Junkie and started playing in all the many yoga styles. My passion was further ignited by amazing Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Sivananda & Jivamukit yoga teacher. About 8 years later I completed my 200H TTC & became a vinyasa yoga teacher and having been teaching almost daily for 8 years now. I find teaching yoga both challenging and rewarding, and I am incredibly grateful to be able to share my passion with everyone. As a yoga practitioner and teacher, I believe in working at your own safe pace, and finding a way to be content with your yoga practice no matter how difficult or how simple. I am passionate about the path to enlightenment and constantly share the ancient yogic philosophies with my students to deepen & enrich their yoga journey.

Your Yoga Teacher
