About JP and Angelique

JP initially only learned to dance for his matric farewell. That was his first introduction into Ballroom and Latin dancing. It stuck from there and when he went to varsity and he joined the dancesport club there. He went on to become to a teacher at Arthur Murray dance studio in Pretoria. When he moved to Johannesburg he started teaching at a small studio. The aim of the classes was to have fun, enjoy dancing and to have dance be something people can enjoy without the worry of how other people see it.

Angelique joined in Johannesburg, to help classes progress at a more enjoyable pace by having both a leader and follower teacher.

We dance and teach 17 different couple dance styles, from Ballroom and Latin to more social dances like Sokkie and Rock n Roll

Our focus is on social dancing rather than competition and performance style dancing
